This warbler had slammed into one of the porch windows and momentarily
stunned himself. We were able to get a photograph of him before he
recovered and flew away.

'sea crow'. In Carteret County these birds are often referred to as
"Core Sound lawyers."

It is truly wonderful to see so many young and adult brown pelicans
in Carteret County.
