More than seventeen years of design and implementation of environmental engineering strategies primarily for the petroleum industry, involving subsurface remediation and regulatory mitigation. Microbiological/ phytological treatment techniques in soil and water; Bio-solids re-use, construction oversight, fuel handling systems; and application of energy management techniques for facility operations.

Experience

Mr. Willis founded APW Environmental in June 2002 and currently provides compliance, planning, and design services to natural gas pipeline companies and independent oil and gas operators in central and south Texas. APW Environmental focuses on primary natural gas treatment operations, remediation, stormwater runoff, and oil spill issues. Prior employment included nine months of litigation support and senior level consulting services for SI Group, LP of College Station, Texas. Litigation projects involved fate and transport of CERCLA and RCRA regulated substances for high profile Superfund clients nationwide. The preceeding 8 ½ years were with TVG Environmental, Inc. of Nashville, Tennessee as a project manager under independent contract for profit commissions only. Mr. Willis successfully acquired clients and capitalized on repeat business by providing “hands on” project management for a variety of projects including assessments, spill plans, permanent closures, installations, systems operation and contaminant remediation. His clients included Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, Tennessee D.O.T., Norfolk Southern Corp., Tennessee Army National Guard, Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corp., United Cities Gas Co., McDonald’s Corporation, and Bank of America. The previous four years of work experience were with SPATCO Environmental, Inc. as operations manager responsible for branch level construction and site remediation activities resulting in gross revenues of environmental services in excess of two million dollars annually. Additional pre-degree experience included two years of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation sales and service for the oil and gas drilling industry in and along the Gulf Coast of Texas.
